Fabrication of the first full scale Atlantis unit has now been completed at the Nymo Yard in Grimstad, Norway and the unit has been transported to Stavanger.

On Friday 14th of March 2003 the first Atlantis unit was successfully lifted on to a crane barge at the Nymo Yard in Grimstad, and was transported to Aker Marine, Contractor`s facilities in Jåttavågen in Stavanger. Following installation of a ring of foam elements supplied by Balmoral, the marine trials will take place in Gandsfjorden in the period from 3rd April to 10th April. Included in these trials is deployment of the unit down to about 200 meters water depth. Pictures from the lifting operation at Nymo are enclosed pictures,
