One of the ”spin-offs” with the Atlantis concept is that it also serves the purpose of a riser tower,
reducing the length of the flexible flow lines from the subsea facilities to the surface production vessel.
This will then ease the installation and maintenance of the riser tower, as all operations can be done by a drilling vessel. The Atlantis riser tower can be used in combination with production or injection wells, or only as a riser support device.
